If you haven’t played Eternal yet, though, you definitely should if you enjoyed 2016.
I haven’t :/
I am planning to get into it though.

I have only played the 2016 game, would you say previous titles have aged well?
How do I convince my friends Lemmy ain’t a cult with titles like this!?
Lemmy was not always like this. But since about 7 or 8 months ago, it became this way. And there is no going back.
Well, are we gonna ignore where the biggest influx of ppl comes from?
I’d say don’t take it too personal if other ppl think differently than you, I think this is the healthiest approach we all can take (especially when we are discussing hobbies).
This stopped being a matter of Lemmy vs Reddit, you can’t really fix Internet people, and that is to be expected.
You can downvote me too, I don’t really care about imaginary numbers. No need to apologize.
You care enough to be bothered with Lemmy.
I am just disappointed that Lemmy was supposed to be a better place than Reddit, but my experience on Lemmy has actually become worse than my experience on Reddit.
I mean, at least this can be fixed, you can’t really fix Reddit.
And I think we still have a better experience on Lemmy than Reddit, for starters we don’t have ads here wink.
TBH I agree with you, 2 secs doesn’t seem like a big deal to me, especially when many other awesome games implement it, but that could also be because I have been desensitized from the daily ads of my life (it used to be worse, I have an ad blocker for anything, but I still use open TV as a background noise and there are some other advertisements you can’t just evade).
I agree with the statement up here that when we allow these 2 secs it lets the path open for more annoying stuff in the future, but also it is ultimately a decision from Nintendo to continue the deal with them if it is annoying enough for most users.
I think the handheld era is my favorite, it basically ended with the 3DS, but it is the DS which I really can’t put down, I am playing for the first time Chrono Trigger on it, and it is my Jump Ultimate Stars machine (Wimmfi), also have some other bangers as well, but I’ll bore you if I citate them all.
But hey, don’t get me wrong, the current handheld era is good too, we have the Switch, The Steam Deck and a plethora of good quality Chinese handhelds.
Never played it, but this news is always sad, hopefully the community is in the works of archiving this, of already did.
It requires a soft mod and maybe 1-2 hours of set up to get online.
My Xbox 360 is gathering dust because, unlike all my other consoles, I am not able to mod it myself :/ (softmod).
I did not know the original Xbox had a softmod though.
Does the Wii U do a worse job with those through emulation?
I do have a Wii, but even with a component cable the looks are not enough for me in a modern TV, that is why I thought having the Wii U HDMI port would make things look better.
That game is one of the biggest reasons that I want a Wii U, the biggest would be the hack possibilities, Pretendo, and GCN/Wii emulation.
I can’t post about game impressions that often because I am very slow at my gaming… With that said I just finished The Last Window for Nintendo DS again (remember next to nothing about the plot) and god I had a blast with it!
I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a visual novel, but it would be wiser to play Hotel Dusk first if you haven’t yet, as The Last Window is a sequel.
Well, this is indeed good news.
I’ll try to play around with the settings, that is like the last thing for me to try…
The worst feeling is when my character jumps or falls, that is when I feel the most sick.
I swear I’m not, I didn’t mean to offend anyone by listing these awesome gems, but I still stand my point that they share too many similarities, and it is worse when you look at more games which, might not be as good as the ones listed (I mean, all those who share a ridiculous amount of sidequests some rewarding, some absolutely not, DLCs which adds up more “filler” and skill threes, because every damn game has to have you read countless of stats and such to improve the MC).
I get you, but I failed at developing my VR legs :c
That is why I will always miss these “lesser” versions of the games, AKA as handheld games, and the Switch, or the industry, might have killed that already.
The biggest perk of handheld gaming nowadays is doing the “videogame chores” (like sidequests) more comfortably for your adult life, and not like a quick burst gaming style… Perhaps indies might be the only experience of it that is left.
They made gaming a chore.
I couldn’t agree more, every damn game looks exactly the same to each other, a huge ass RPG like with tons of sidequests which can be or not good and with cosmetic upgrades or paid DLCs.
The last four games that I have played follow this formula:
The Witcher 3
Batman Arkham Knight
Breath of The Wild
Nier Automata
Currently I have only finished The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight, and got “tired” with the last two, currently playing SIFU and god it feels very fresh… Although I’m stuck at the “git gud” phase.
895, I don’t think all of them are active or even still going (were replaced by bigger instances).
Yeah the fact that this already exists and it is pretty much perfect just makes me think that it is a lame move from Nintendo, even if it was meant to be a joke lol.
My girlfriend was saying all the time that she would hate her iPhone going to the Android way regarding the icons… Because she knew lots of people would have disgusting setups… I believe she was right.
