I really hate these “articles” that are little more than a link to a YouTube video.

I have never found overalls that fit. I have a long torso and short legs. It’s either a constant wedgie or pant legs that are way too long. So I have to disagree, which fits with the unpopular opinion theme I guess.

Mostly convenience, the Klarna app is miles ahead of what my bank offers.

While I agree that increasing consumer debt is a problem, I think Klarna provides a valuable service for online shopping.

I can get my goods delivered and inspect them before paying anything. If the goods are not as stated (or don’t arrive at all) I just dispute it and then it is Klarnas problem, I haven’t risked anything of my own money. If I had paid up front, I would have to try to get my money back. It’s almost always harder to get money back than to dispute and refuse to pay.

Some regulations are welcome, but I don’t see BNPL as a bad concept in itself.

How does switching the codec help with downloading subtitles from the web?

Is using the Android TV app considered “using it wrong”? Because that doesn’t support downloading subtitles.

But thanks anyway, I actually didn’t know that downloading subtitles was supported on other platforms. This should att least allow me to download subtitles via the phone. A bit more cumbersome than having it directly in the app as for Kodi though.

I’m also tired of Kodi but I constantly come back to it. The one thing that Kodi does better than all the rest is the handling of subtitles. I try to use Jellyfin instead but I constantly have to switch back to Kodi because there are no ways (from within the app) to find and download new subtitles.

Do we really want Facebook users just for the growth? Quality beats quantity.
