Just hire Kirkbride back goddamnit. I installed Immortals of Aveum and saw that Kirkbride is the main writer and got pumped on the game but that damn thing keeps crashing on me. So I’m back to just playing Diablo or Minecraft for the time being.

CDPR effectively rewrote the campaign after Keanu Reeves told them that he’s game if CDPR wants to record more lines. I still remember the E3 demo where CDPR said that the campaign has been completed and they’re just in the polishing stages.

I understand their response with this. IIRC Indonesia is having the same problems with Ukrainians and Russians staying in Bali to avoid the war. The situation got so problematic the local government added Russian to their warning signs.
Although the Russians are more problematic since their banks got sanctioned and cannot use Visa networks so they’re unable to pull any money from the ATMs and have resorted to taking local jobs and even panhandling there.

Just bouncing between Overwatch 2 and MW3 as currently I’m still burned out playing SP games since playing AC6 to NG++, AW2 on hard, miraculously managed to finish a durge honor mode run (this is what burned me out, too stressful playing CRPGs with only 1 save, with a durge run at that).
I’ve also found that Warzone 3 is surprisingly good so most of my old Warzone 1 squad are reinstalling the game and we started playing together again.
If you don’t have much experience playing CRPGs I think it can be quite difficult. But once you get the hang of building classes, even honor mode will definitely be doable.
Finished a durge run on BG3 honor mode last week so I’m quite burned out playing single player games ATM. So just bouncing around the Finals and Overwatch 2. Actually my old COVID gaming group got together to play Warzone since they reverted the movement back to the old MW19 I just might buy MW3 just to save my sanity of leveling the guns. I think that’s the main purpose of the MP versions of COD, just a guns leveling pass for the yearly weapons drop.
For the energy source aspect, it’s much more efficient to have a single big place to generate electricity compared to having millions of portable combustion engines running around inside cars. It’s also easier to switch to a cleaner energy if a wind farm or a solar power plant if you’re a state or some entity that’s responsible for energy generation in your region.
TBH my biggest pet peeve on an EV is basically every EV is a privacy sucking machine. They record everything and send everything home. Give me a car like my old car that doesn’t have any telemetry and the technology is simple enough I can even push start the car when the alternator is fully dead.

With the addition of Honour mode in BG3 I decided to finally start a Dark Urge playthru for the first time. It’s been a wild ride, Shart and Gale died and I almost lost everyone in my party lol.
I hated the magical + physical armor parts in the D:OS mechanic. I think using a DnD ruleset instead of their own helps BG3 mainstream success. This is anecdotal evidence but I have a friend that is unable to play D:OS2 but loves BG3 very much.
I played em both and even did a secret ending run. Love both but it’s based on PF1e and it’s still built with RTWP by default. I love the various origin characters that Larian made for BG3 and D:OS2 that made your party members feel like real characters that have their own motivations unlike other RPGs that have your companion to be more like henchmen.
Larian pls make a new series based on the Pathfinder ruleset. I think the success of BG3 has helped the mainstream to get used to DnD ruleset. Although Pathfinder is more complex, I think they have the chops to make it more accessible to the masses.
