What about the husband vote cancelling out the wives vote?
Both humans have agency. If you are going to frame the issue as treachery, then the husband shouldn’t vote against his wife. Or, is the husband owed two votes and the wife none?
Fuck that.

You buy a pair of shoes, the maker is paid. Why do you have to pay the bastard every month?
That’s true. We are a racist country on the whole. Like the US, it really shows in the regional areas.
I agree, but take a fucking chill pill. Everyone has an opinion.
True. But if that happened to you involuntary data violations would be the least of your problems.
Unfortunately this has always been the case with other country’s rules. I’m not a fan of US gun culture, but I’m not American, so I don’t get a vote.
Nobody is forcing you to visit either Singapore or North Korea.
Sometimes following a principal appears useless. Sometimes symbolism can lead to powerful change.
Ghandi’s march to the sea to ‘make salt’, which was an illegal act under British rule, indirectly led to Indian independence. Long bow, I grant you, but the golden thread is there.
Oath, smoath…
She was elected, he was born to rule. Let’s not get all technical. It’s not as if she had a choice of not including kings. The system is rigged.
Guaranteed to fail the next health inspection too after Trump’s leaking diaper wreaks every floor surface.
Actually, nobody goes to heaven when they die (according to the bible). Everyone must wait until judgement day when all the graves, etc, open and we all face judgement at that point. This surprised me when I first learned it because it goes against all the Christian culture I’ve ever been taught and experienced.
So grandma isn’t currently in heaven no matter how good she was.
You seem to be implying that handguns don’t count even though it has happened, or actual attempts, multiple times. Ok…?
Handguns did the job on Ronald Reagan and almost for Gerald Ford.
Leaving Abe Lincoln to one side, but if you are lucky and your security detail is a bit lax, a handgun can get the job done. I’m Australian, so we don’t see much of that sort of thing.
If you have a point to make, it’s alluded me.
Why do we have to sign up to every fucking thing and it’s brother? Everything gets hacked eventually. Why don’t we just hand over our data to the hackers and cut out the middle man?
Yep, I had my data deleted. They told me so, but I don’t for a second believe it.
There is an old saying that a terrorist is someone who has a bomb, but not an airforce to drop it.
Your reply assumes that the rest of the world must follow the US example. That’s not necessarily true, although there is a bit of flirtation going on here and there with fascist populism, Western countries with Western values have managed to put a choke hold on the worst.
Also, loading the SCOTUS benches with partisan picks is not exactly a new thing. FDR was doing it for the Dems in the 1930s.
I hear you, but that system has worked well for us since federation in 1901. It’s not perfect, but what system is? At least we have never witnessed the absolute crazy judicial stuff that is an ongoing mess in the US.
Believe me, I’m not attacking the US in any way. The world needs America to succeed. America needs America to succeed, but every SCOTUS decision is crazy. Even political gerrymandering is permitted in the land of the free, according to your Supreme Court.
I’m afraid that how the US chooses SCOTUS is vastly different from ike countries, and that’s how you end up with the US having ‘unique’ judicial situations.
Threatening us with good news.
