Pretty sure its extremely difficult to get out of Afghanistan, especially if you’re a woman. In fact I don’t think you can unless you’re accompanied by a man. I get what you’re saying but “getting out” is immensely dangerous

Kinda depends on the car. Volkswagen cars are pretty “hackable” with OBDeleven which is a wireless interface for the hilariously named “VAGCOM” protocol.
I got an OBDeleven for my 2015 GTI so I could unlock stuff and customize. Enabled rolling down the windows with the key fob, being able to display the engine oil temp in the dash and also setting the accelerator pedal curve to linear.
So excited to see nuclear thermal propulsion actually flying. We were so close with project NERVA back in the 70s
It’s because Google’s corporate culture rewards new products over maintaining old ones. They’ll happily dump a product even with tens of millions of users to push a new one. Funnily enough the main Google products I see consistent mainstream usage of is all the old ones.

Totally agree. Though typically commercial displays aren’t really built for home use so they may take some tweaking to get them to look good at home. The good news is if you get something like a NEC commercial display they usually have easy to access and very detailed calibration menus. Also they’ll have tons of ports and even legacy ports like VGA so they’ll be super flexible. But above 50" the prices go up a lot.
That’s not how large democracies work, my friend. It’s not some dictatorship they can instantly move money around to solve problems with. In fact India spends WAYYYYYY more on welfare than it does on ISRO. It’s something like 2 billion USD to 250 billion USD. In fact the problem isn’t just money its how its distributed, corruption, etc. If the Indian government decided to defund ISRO and put that money to welfare, it would be a tiny drop in a massive bucket. Defunding ISRO would also have major ramifications on their aerospace industry, many thousands would be out of jobs, those with higher educations would leave the country to find opportunities. Have you looked at how India is doing with abject poverty in the past 20 years? The graphs are all trending down. Is it perfect? absolutely not. Every country could do something better, India has a lot of things it needs to work on. In my opinion, building up its own indigienous space industry is a net positive for India and is not taking money away from poor people.
What I’m getting at is it’s so easy to criticize a nation for their faults without looking at the complex socioeconomic and political issues at hand.
