You can use a controller and it works great, but at this point I bet you’d rather use a larger device. It does make a lot more sense on iPads though

Just buy used. You get all the goodies without supporting their shitty practices, while not even having to deal with the ethics of piracy. It’s all win.
One lab or one beagle sure could!
This seems like such an oddly specific adaptation, but you’re right, especially the fact that it happened twice makes it a lot more believable
Cobras probably existed looong before any ape did, so that sounds unlikely!
This is what I had read about the iPhone 13 one too and I was ready to jump on the hate train, but I’m pretty pleased with mine (got it for free when I bought my phone). I’ve been using it for around six months and it’s looking the exact same as it did at the beginning
Seeing Apple admit a fail is always such a treat. Hope the replacement will be even better than the last leather case!
You need to verify every week, but it’s automatic as long as your computer is on during the verification
To be fair you can already do it for YouTube with uYou and AltStore, it won’t be as seamless as on Android but it’s possible :)
If it’s not in the US, I fear developers won’t take it seriously and we probably won’t get many good sideloadable apps anyway
It’s slow? If it is indeed a 2020 one it shouldn’t be slow, there might be a problem with it. I’m using an iPhone XS (2 year older phone) and even that isn’t slow.
Sure but it’s no excuse to making things worse
In addition to the adblockers, you can install Hush to get rid of the cookie notices.
If you’re willing to tinker a little, check out AltStore. It’s a way to install apps Apple doesn’t want on the App Store (so things similar to re-Vance’d, torrent downloaders or emulators).
Considering how well they’ve sold even with the price bumps, it’s clear that people don’t care and Apple knows it
I got excited about that headline until I thought about how big it’s probably going to be. I’ll keep my XS and will switch to a 13 Mini when needed.
I have tried it with a 2012 Retina MacBook Pro and it’s really cool. I installed a recent version of macOS on it so it wasn’t great performance wise (the OS itself ran pretty well but the computer was very warm all the time), but I think you can make it work still.
I’d try Big Sur or Monterey.
Also if you have performance issues, changing the battery can help a lot.
The main thing for me is the quality of the pull tabs. It might partly be a skill issue but in my experience they break 3 out of 4 times, and then it transforms into a miserable experience. I’ve changed iPhone batteries maybe 6 or 7 times now and I’ve never managed to get better at it, even by being super careful.
They need to find a better system to stick those batteries, at this point I’m convinced pull tabs are terrible by choice.
I’m fine with a 32Gb Switch, I just don’t want it to run at 720p 30fps
I used to love playing Infinity Blade back in the day, but it was another time and they were games built from the ground up for touch screens so it’s not really comparable
