Shawn Tomkin’s Ironsworn series. Delve I regularly use for setting up point crawls. Ironsworn/Starforged/Sundered Isles have great collections of random tables, I use the book thematically most fitting for the situation at hand. The core tables of Action, Theme, Descriptor and Focus all get heavy use.

Kevin Crawford’s [SOMETHING] Without Number series have awesome tables as well. These however get more use when I need more detail. Prep stuff. Again most thematic book is picked first but I do have used Cites (cyberpunk) for fantasy cities.

When I want to create background for “medieval fantasy” characters I pick up Burning Wheel and burn something up. Through that I get a good selection of relevant skills to sue (for flavor)

Anything related to cosmos and mythology I say HELLO! to my growing collection of Glorantha material. From cult books to magic tomes and Atlases.

As long as the Russian bear is around to scare the west and occupy our mibds the Chinese dragon is at much more liberty to do whatever they want.

For everyday user (browser, light office, photo management, tv/movie streaming) it is already as viable as windows as a daily driver.

Once it is installed and up and running. But then most windows users haven’t installed windows themselves so that is almost a moot point. It is first when you get into “specialty” software linux viability drops.

I should play BG3 and get out of Act1. Buuut it’s starting to be so long since I last played it that I am lost in where I was and were doing. And I honestly don’t like the zone designs with all their open emptyness while at the same time being soooo cramped. What does it take to walk from the druid’s encampment to the goblin temple? Two minutes? Three? Cooooome on. Would have preferred the druid’s having one map, then world map travel to goblin’s and then zoom in on their lair. Condense the adventure while keeping distances plausible. So I’ll keep on looking at my small settlers as I keep building their settlement in Farthest Frontier.

4-5 degrees? You are optimistic. I bet I get to see 3 degrees in my lifetime as we will blast by each and every exit ramps. Not only that we’ll also be drifting on the highway, because it looks cool.

Because it isn’t western cristianity and/or capitalism. No questioning what power structures comes with it, no questioning of its moralities and ethics. But there are some good things in Islam, just as there are good things in any organized religion. Negatives outweigh however, as the negatives in any organized religion outweigh the positives. Especially in proselytizing religions.
