I don’t even have chrome installed. I use Firefox and Duckduckgo. It in android phones and gsuite products that people have to use for work.You have to go to extreme lengths to uninstall on desktop as outlined in the article, and cannot uninstall or opt out of on android.

I don’t remember, sadly. It was like a year and a half ago, and I opened the app and saw some had made a post on the home page that was just the N word over and over so I closed the website (I was on desktop) and figured I would let it mature for a bit.
I left Reddit during APIGate and I tried lemme and it was full of racist nastiness so I closed my account and recently also left all meta apps and drasticallyreduced tiktok, and thought I might come check out how things are going and it’s nice and cozy here now, think I will stay. Been off of x for the better part of 3 years.
