I don’t think there’s a LemmyNSFW Meta to talk about possible issues in the instance, but lately I’ve noticed a few - possibly bot? - accounts spamming communities. They both have jumbled usernames and have created around a dozen communities each.

I don’t necessarily understand what’s the point, or what they could gain from this, but thought it’d be worth to at least point out to the mod coordination.

The accounts are @0D5C3D7BD3F7D503 and @0FAC249F80845370

Mildly unrelated but I’ve also noticed @Think316 has dozen of communities dedicated to different brazilian celebrities, but in this case I think they’re just not very bright.

I’m not sure if we’re at that point yet - and I’m not sure if LemmyNSFW is growing still, since Reddit isn’t going anywhere soon - but maybe at some point the idea of allowing communities to be created on public request only, stating what the goals are and checking if there aren’t repeats, could be done.
