Summary

Donald Trump’s chaotic first 45 days are showing signs of adjustment as he faces economic and political resistance.

After market tumbles and Supreme Court resistance to DOGE team actions, Trump publicly clipped Elon Musk’s wings during a Cabinet meeting where Marco Rubio confronted Musk over State Department staff cuts.

Trump delayed tariffs on Mexico and Canada to calm markets, suggesting a shift from "shock and awe.”

The Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling against freezing foreign aid represents another significant setback to Trump’s executive authority ambitions.

No, we definitely want geniuses who find the work boring, like Einstein. Think of all they could accomplish when they’re stuck in a tower for long shifts of unstimulating work, think of all the math, art, and science they could produce sounds of planes crashing in the background
