Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said the European Union had not taken a fair stance on the Israel-Hamas war and the situation in Gaza and as a result trust in the bloc had been “deeply shaken”, broadcaster Haberturk and others reported on Saturday.
It’s also important to distinguish here. The West considers the PKK to be a terrorist organization as well. It’s the YPG where opinions with Turkey differ.

IOW US is protecting Kurds by shooting down a single Turkish drone?
Kurds, which are often abandoned by US (Iraq, Syria at least, in later case giving free hands to … Turkey)?
I really don’t think there is a positive internet towards Kurds there.
As I said, they’re not doing much. But it’s fairly clear that the US would rather have Turkey leave the Kurds alone. It’s just not ready to take more than symbolic measures.
