The decision, which was first reported by NBC News, is a reversal for the president, who repeatedly said he would not use his authority to pardon his son or commute his sentence.

Close but missed it.

Biden was willing until Trump won because with Trump running the DOJ, letting the DOJ have custody of Biden’s son is a massive national security risk.

That was never going to happen.
