This was a great video. The ban on disposable vape can’t come sooner.

That was for sure dramatized, and the real woman who lost her baby was very outspoken when the series was released that she didn’t kill her baby. In addition to being inaccurate it also didn’t portray her properly. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/12/23/say-killed-baby-woman-inspired-chernobyl-tv-character-says-abuse/
I would bet that they will restrict the distribution of existing and new vaccines first, and then perform the investigation slowly, wasting money and time, and causing unnecessary harm.
Is this testing process normal or only specific to Indiana? Are the “test” ballots that are used added to the overall count and then subtracted after the fact, is that why he said he “fucked up count”? Or was the intention to steal the ballot to cast during election day?
6 senators and 121 representatives (all Republican) objected to certifying Arizona’s results in the hours after the insurrection at the capitol on Jan 6th. He also has 6 justices on the Supreme Court who have already ruled that he’s above the law. Unfortunately he doesn’t need to be in power if he’s being propped up by those who do.
Exactly, billionaires don’t usually get income the way most people normally do, or are only paid $1/year and instead are given stock. They can then use that as collateral to take out loans, effectively getting millions of dollars in salary without paying income taxes. And then when they die, the principal on their stock resets so their heirs can sell the stock and the gains be next to nothing, meaning they won’t pay taxes on all the gains.
Scary Movie
That was an excruciating interview to listen to. He started off kinda sounding sane, but as time went on, more of his fringe ideas started showing, culminating to that point.
Not do downplay this issue, but based on the description, OP had a valid session cookie, and was updating their profile to disable MFA since they lost the code. They weren’t brute forcing logging in.
I haven’t looked into the source code, maybe this is an instance by instance configuration, but login attempts are rate limited. After a few failed attempts, I started getting this message:
Lemmy Error: You’re being rate limited, wait a bit before trying that again.
Interesting, that’s not something I ever thought about. I just looked up the nameservers for .bb
:
;; ANSWER SECTION:
bb. 86400 IN NS ns5.nic.bb.
bb. 86400 IN NS ns3.nic.bb.
bb. 86400 IN NS ns2.nic.bb.
bb. 86400 IN NS ns1.nic.bb.
bb. 86400 IN NS ns4.nic.bb.
bb. 86400 IN NS ns6.nic.bb.
It seems like ns1.nic.bb
doesn’t resolve, and for 2-6, they’re all in either 64.68.192.0/20
or 64.119.192.0/20
, so it does look like a small concentration in root nameservers which could be unavailable in a storm.
Same thing happened to me once tbh. It can happen.
the warning for future tech founders is clear: Be careful when picking your top-level domain. Physical history is never as separate from our digital future as we like to think.
Kinda ironic this is published to a website with a .to
ccTLD for the Kingdom of Tonga.
FWIW if you have a seed box which you can ssh into, you can setup a SOCKS5 proxy to route all traffic through the seed box. It’ll act like a VPN for you and is the best of both worlds in my opinion. This way your ISP and government can’t block your traffic or see that you’re accessing trackers at all (even to get the magnet links).
The first one was pretty funny : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYqfVE-fykk
I use PWAs for Firefox and they work ok, although I don’t have the issue you mention. For me, in Ubuntu, if I open a link in a PWA for Google Chat, then the link opens in the PWA firefox window, not my main browser window. Maybe there’s a setting I missed?
Also, the PWA acts like a separate browser, so opening Google Chat requires you to log in again to Google on the same machine. And if you open up a paywalled link, and it opens in the PWA, then you have to log in, even if you’re logged in in Firefox.
Overall 5/7 rating on usability, but did allow me to get completely off of Chrome
public facing is fine
Not exactly, if it is something unintentionally public facing, that can get you charged with access a computer without authorization under the the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. This happened in this case: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goatse_Security#AT&T/iPad_email_address_leak
sending a HTTP request with a valid ICC-ID embedded inside it to the AT&T website, the website would reveal the email address associated with that ICC-ID.
On November 20, 2012, Auernheimer was found guilty of one count of identity fraud and one count of conspiracy to access a computer without authorization

Did uptobox provide seed boxes for torrenting, or what was the service like?
This has the added benefit of stripping Meghan Markle of her citizenship as well.
I really have no opinion of Meghan Markle but thought this was funny. It’s insane that it’d be easier to ratify an amendment from 1810 which would impact a good handful of people to target Alito, than implement robust Supreme Court ethics reforms.
