If you think that the United States front in Japan defeated the Nazis, you very clearly need to review your history. Also, X/Twitter is not a reliable source of “history“.

10·11 hours agoBecause, for centuries, they were, for most people, they only source of music in their life, other than a live performance. Over the last few decades, they are used exclusively to create a creepy atmosphere in horror and thriller films.
Same thing with clowns and dolls

The US version is probably the best US adaptation of a UK show I’ve ever seen. In fact, I think it might be a little bit better than the UK original.
Both shows have characters that are culturally relevant to either the UK or the US history, and the differences between the shows are won’t make each one pretty great. If you enjoy one, you’ll definitely enjoy the other.
