Ubuntu was once an okay-ish distribution, many many years ago. Then Canonical got rogue, made some very sketchy and irritating decisions (walled garden, snap, advertisements with Amazon, now advertisements in their package manager, … so much more)

Ubuntu is the bane of Linux. Use upstream Debian if you like apt; Linux Mint for an easy entry; Arch, if you’re quick of wits and want to widen your knowledge and skillset.

I really hate that picture. Imagine swapping the man and tho woman. He and their two kids waiting, knifes ready, for the spouse to come back from work, ready for stabbing an unsuspect. Wow, what an outcry this would have.

I take offense they are called “alcohol FREE”. That’s just false advertisement, whatever is in the fineprint.

Read the comments in this post. They are worded like “yeah, I like to have a beer sometimes, but without alcohol, so I chose an “alkoholfrei” beer”. When they, in fact, are drinking an alcoholic brewage, still.

“alcohol free” is not free of alcohol but can contain up to 0.5% alcohol.

This could be fatal for people having had an alcohol addition because that sets them right back into the circle of drug abuse.

“It will go away, no harm done” is your stance? Well, there is harm done, if not only on the societies feeling of sanity and security. What was the purpose of that action? To seed shock and “ruffle some feathers”, sow disbalance under the coat of “shaking sleeping people up”.

“No harm done”? Well, then let me waterboard you, hit you, hit your wife and children. The blue specks will go away, no harm done. Your psychological effects? They will go away, seek therapy. You’re still less affected people than the society.

Of course this was sarcasm. But think about what stance you just took and reflect.

As a fellow gamer said: “Y’all may kick and scream, you’re still the minority. Cope, loser.”

Seriously, what are you doing here, blaming? Deal with what a large portion of people voted for. Look forward, find solutions, act.

Roguelikes come from the age of boomers and gen x, are hard as nails, very complex, have a cursed tome of documentation and take months to reach victory, if at all.

Roguelites are for the modern times.

Have the ed 2 here from times past. Sadly, we never actually played Paranoia, probably we were only used to DSA, Shadowrun, MERS etc. and had too much respect about not being witty enough to play, let alone GM it. Lost contact to all but one of the pals from then but we had a blast of a time.
